i took this photo in my room as is was more comfortable to sit down and have the camera on my desk.Time
not sure what time but it was very late at night about 10pm .Lighting
for lighting i used a head lamp my eye was so close to the lens no flash would of worked.Equipment
used a canon 700d with a sigma 18-250mm lens and a macro extension with a tripod thats a bit biggert than a desk tripod.Inspiration
i previously took a photo of my eye and was not really happy with it so while i was watching a series on my computer i decided i wanted to try again and it was difficult i didnt have any help but the persistence paid off and i love macro photography.Editing
i really cant remember what i did to the image all i know is i edited the raw image in lightroom and played around for a while till i was happy also tried new things did some experimenting. dont be scared to experiment in editing keep playing around till you are happy .In my camera bag
well i i dont have much equipment and my flash broke so all i have is my canon 700d with the sigma 18-250mm lens and a cleaning kit if i had my flash that would be in the bag as well.Feedback
not sure what advice to give all i can say is be patient if you not getting the image you want take a break try again the next day or even wait a few days till you feel the urge to take that image again and sometimes in photography you will get very frustrated but relax and push forward i know ive been there a few times myself and and even though you dont have the fancy equipment as others doesnt mean you cant take the same photos as them it only means you will need to work a bit harder to get the image you want and trust me when you have that image its worth it .
