A composite image of two photos taken at RAF Manby inside te old officers quarters.
The Chair sat alone in what looked like an old sitting room. The corridor had lovely filtered light created by the partly boarded windows.
The setting reminded me of the gritty backdrop in the old TV series 'Rising Damp' don't know why it just cometomind.
The image was created using 'Photoshop' and the 'Flood' plugin... I replaced the right hand side with water using the 'Flood' plugin, cut the chair from another image and added it and used a semi transparent eraser brush to blend i in.
Once I was happy with the image I moved it to 'Lightroom' to add my custom preset (my style with desaturated colours, slight grain and minor vignette.
Since these images were taken it has been badly vandalised and has had a major fire.

Location
Taken at an old RAF officers quarters in LincolnshireTime
Taken early afternoonLighting
Lighting for the original images was natural but filtered by the semi boarded up windows and diffused by trees outside.Equipment
Nikon D800 using a Sigma 12-24mm ultrawide lense on a tripod for both original imagesInspiration
I loved the decay but the filtered light even more adding a great somber mood to the building.Editing
There were two original images that went into the making of the final image, one the corridor and the second the chair (taken from one of the rooms. Post processing was carried out in 'Photoshop CS6' and consisted firstly of adding a flood to the side wall of the corridor using 'Flaming Pear'. Next stage was to cut the chair from it's original image and place it into position, then simply duplicated the layer and flip it to make the reflection and reducing the opacity of the layer. Final stage was to open the image in 'Lightroom 5.5' and add my style to the image (bit like gravy bringing the whole thing together). In my camera bag

Take your time looking for the best light and composition, try and make it easy for your self if your planning to make a composite image by making sure light is coming from the same direction in the component images. Add your own style to the final image.
