This was taken on what was supposed to be a moonlight hike to Lake Blanche in Big Cottonwood Canyon near Salt Lake City, Utah. Turned out the moon didn’t rise until we made our way back down the mountain. This shot of my daughter, my niece and their friend gazing up at Sundial Peak was taken in almost complete darkness.
