Behind The Lens

Location

this photo was taken outside after this female cardinal crashed into large patio windows that cover the corner of our house. the cardinal was stunned. you can see the missing feathers on its breast. it stayed there for several minutes allowing me time to retrieve my camera an take multiple pictures. this picture I felt was the best of the lot. the lens was approximately 10" from the cardinal. she was a great model

the bird itself and the fact that I love taking a variety of photos

no post processing was performed on this photo; however, one version does have some color enhancement
