I think it was 9:45 in the morning and the parade started around 10 till 11

Lighting

It was natural light on a cold winter morning of November. No flash

Equipment

I can't remember what camera I had at the time. But there was no tripod and it was the normal lens that came with the nikon I had

Inspiration

My dad is ex army and my great grandfather was in the navy. My grand uncle perished at sea in the navy. As a child dad would attend this parades of remembrance day.. I've been going since the age of 9. Up till now.

I think it depends on whether and how good the light is that morning plus I had the winter sun that made it easier
