Location
This photo was took in my home's living room. When I found this cat, he was skinny, thirsty and very hungry. I took him to my place and gave him a new and cosy home.Time
It was a Sunday morning around 8 o'clock. After I made myself a cup of coffee and entered the living room I saw him looking at me with his bright and yellow eyes, ready to play. After some jumping, scratching the sofa and playing with me, he landed on his rear feet with his front ones in the air. In that moment I lookes at my camera which was on the table next to him and took on of my favorite photos ever.Lighting
The lighting in the room couldn't have been more natural and perfect at the same time. Morning sun rays went through a big glass window and made the scenery ideal for this picture.Equipment
The picture was taken on my Nikon D7100 with the Tamron 17-50mm lens and settings were f2.8, ISO 500, shutter speed 1/160s and the focal length 46mm.Inspiration
What makes it even more interesting and special to me is how the picture was taken so simultaneously. Those kind of situations tend to give the most beautiful pictures.Editing
I didn't do a lot of post-processing on the picture. All I did was increase the brigtness a bit, added some color and contrast to pop the blacks out more, and lastly increase the clarity so that the fur can be more noticeable. In my camera bag
In my bag I always have a Nikon D7100 body, my favorite lens Tamron 17-55mm, a Nikkor 50mm 1.8G and the Tamron 70-300mm. For light purposes there's my Nikon Speedlight SB-700 and not to forget my little GoPro Hero 5. Lastly, for pictures from the air I use the DJI Spark.Feedback
Tip I would give to others is to always have your camera beside you. Also, be good to animals and they will definitely pay you back with some special moments like these where you only gotta be ready to snap it.
