Driving to one of the wests best tailwaters for a day of fly fishing these mountains caught my eye. Being a local guide who grew up fishing there rivers, Ive seen these mountains hundreds of times. This day was a cold day just recently in the month of October. a cold front pushed in causing the smoke in the picture. I instantly thought black & white would look great with the dark mountain peaks. I'm glad I stopped to take the shot!
