Walking through the city, I always try and take time to sit and chat with the people I meet who might be down on their luck and ignored by the world. Always conversation first, camera later, so I can better know the person I'll be collaborating on an image with. This gentleman had been on the streets of ATL for about 6 months and was trying to get back in control of his life. He was happy that a local shelter had just given him a new [to him] set of clean clothes so he'd look better when he went to interview for a temporary housing opportunity.
