I lived for years in several Latin Countries, from Mexico to Bolivia.

In nature, the one constant you experience and learn to enjoy, even when it wrap lianas and chokes away life from other things, is the power of the jungle to reclaim home, land and man invested plants.

The rainforest reclaims everything man does, even clear cutting, native slash and burn, machines, construction, all of it falls beneathe the regrowth of the forest, driven by almost daily rains. In order to keep what you build, you must maintain your presence weekly, for the jungle respects nothing but the blade and shovel.

In its beautfy the rainforest does not stop where you introduce other beauty, it covers and sometimes kills what you planted or made. As long as it rains, the forest will cover war, mansions, and even roads. Inevitably green.
