Location
The photo was taken in beautiful and mysterious place called Cumberland Island, it's in the south of Georgia state.Time
It was about 2pm. I was not able to choose specific time. It depended on ferry schedule which arrived at noon and departed at 4pm.Lighting
The light was all natural.Equipment
Canon EOS 500D with 17-40mm f/4 lensesInspiration
Long road throw the whole island looked amazing. It was like a tunnel framed with trees. I have never seen something like this before.Editing
I wanted to express the mystery, unique beauty and mood of Cumberland Island, and decided to make the photo black & white. It helped to emphasize the shape of trees, shadows and lights on the road, added more contrast. Square format and lite vignetting gave some deepness to the photo. In my camera bag
Not much :) I usually have my Canon EOS 500D with 17-40mm f/4 and 50mm f/2.4 lenses. 17-40mm allows me to take beautiful landscapes, 50mm I use for portraits and close-up photos. Sometimes I take a tripod to take photos at night.Feedback
Just be in right place, see the true beauty of it and don't forget your camera :)
