It had rained on and off all day with heavy clouds. But as we approached sunset there was a break in the clouds behind me that lit up the pylons and the trees. Fortunately the wind that had been blowing all day had also died allowing the surface of the lake to become like glass. I love the way the green and yellows in the foliage of the trees contrasts against the stormy blue grey clouds and the electricity pylons are gleaming in the early evening sunlight.

Many thanks for your comment. Many people think electricity pylons are a blot on the landscape but these ones actually help make the local view especially when the lake is like a mirror as in this image.
