Of all the different shots of this scene as the sun progressed through the view, I like this one best. Better exposure of the scene lets me enjoy all the detail of the foreground including the delicate bit of fog over the water. Cool spot. Were there wild fires or something burning somewhere west of you to get the nice glowing orange sun in the images or just evenly overcast that day?

There were wildfires burning all over Montana and Wyoming during the time we visited Yellowstone this summer. The smoke did have an effect on the views while we were there.
