Behind The Lens

Location

I took this image a few years ago at Machen Agricultural Show near Caerphilly

Time

I took the shot around 2pm

Lighting

I chose the vantage point so that the natural lighting would enhance the physique of the farrier

Equipment

I used my Nikon D3200 along with the built in flash and my 18-55mm lens

Inspiration

I wanted to show the strength and expertise needed by the farrier to do his day to day work

Editing

I used a Sepia filter to give the image a vintage look, being an age old profession.

In my camera bag

I normally have my 18-55mm at hand, along with my 55-300mm lens

Feedback

Experiment, but always keep the original
