Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken on our family vacation not long after this little guy learned to walk. We camped on the Beaver River on Arkansas.

Time

This was early afternoon and someone was overdue for a nap!

Lighting

We were in a shaded area but just beyond us the sun was direct and with it being mid-day the trees helped make a perfect situation!

Equipment

This was taken on a Canon Rebel - the vacation camera!

Inspiration

My son was not having it and decided he was going for a walk. The dirt path, messy hair, and chunky toddler legs were a perfect combination!

Editing

Very little photoshop, changed to b/w.

In my camera bag

I normally carry a Canon 60D, a Canon 50mm, and my favorite Tamron 28-75mm.

Feedback

This was not planned, I try to take my photos as they come. Unstaged, genuine, and full our pure emotion. In this case, fierce independence!
