As you walked or drove around the streets of Madagascar, you noticed many women with their faces painted. I later discovered that it was a form of sunscreen. Our driver mentioned that the paint made the women more beautiful. The colours varied from woman to woman - not quite sure what the difference was.

This photo was taken at a market in Nosy Be - Madagascar. Her face matched the pillars she sat in front of which made for an interesting portrait. Here's an unconventional interpretation of the theme "Paint and Makeup".
