Almost every photographer who visits New Zealand wants to at least see the Wanaka tree and hopefully take an awesome photo of it. With the lake down so low that the tree was out of the water by a few feet, I had to rely on getting very very close to a small puddle to get the reflections I needed. The camera is balanced on a pebble on the edge of the puddle. Fortunately the sunset was a good one and partly due to the low water level, I was able to get a vantage point not available (easily) when the lake is full.
