Location
I captured this scene on the east coast of Tasmania, this is in the area known as the Bay of fire, named after the red coloration of the rocks lining the shore.Time
Not at the ideal time usually but due to the heavy cloud cover mid morning provided ideal conditions for this long exposure.Lighting
All natural lighting for this scene.Equipment
I shot this image using Canon 6D, Sigma 24mm Art mounted on Vanguard 283AT tripod.Inspiration
Stormy skies, waves pounding high up the rocks, the angle of the rock formations, I feel made for a good composition. The people in the scene also contribute to the final shot.Editing
Converted to monochrome and tidied up some dust spots and there you have it.In my camera bag
Canon 6D with the 24mm and 70-200mm often with a tripod.Feedback
Time. I have learnt a little more about patience, time, patience and walk around looking at the scenes. Imagine the scene from different angles, time of day and year, you may need a revisit maybe with a friend to add to the scene.
