A cloudy and very dark night, we arrived at the mayan archaeological national park called "Quirigua" located in the department of Izabal, Guatemala. Our purpose: to capture the Milky Way galaxy. It was raining for many hours while we waited in our tent. We only had a few minutes before it became cloudy again to see the center of the galaxy in the southeast. It was a magical and mystical night in ancestral mayan lands.
