Driving California Highway 1 north, back to Monterey on March 29, 2016, we spotted a group of photographers on the east side of Bixby Bridge, and quickly chose to stop. Sun was setting, and colors off of the bridge looking southwest were of a magical quality. The bridge is constructed of drab gray concrete, but the reflection of the setting sun gave it a golden glow against the backdrop of the Big Sur coastline. Shot with a Canon EOS 60D, hand held with an 18-270mm Tamron Zoom, at 33.0mm, 1-80 sec, ISO 400.
