Walking the beach of the Kachemak Bay in Homer Alaksa, this eagle and I spent a time together enjoying the sushine on a February afternoon.

Wandering through a graveyard of old boats, I came across this gracious Great Horned Owl sitting between the hulls of a run down catamaran.

This squirrel and I spent some time together hanging around wild apple trees. Squirrely ate, I took photos, we were both happy!

Warm and fuzzy, beautiful and brown, the wood bison. It is hard not to love these incredible beasts.

The storm was moving in and the winds were high, blurring the grasses and pushing these clouds across the sky.

After the first major snow I strapped on my skis, went exploring. On my way home I captured this.

This beautiful girl was so special to me, she allowed me to be within an arms reach. Quietly together I think we both had a spiritual experience.

We were chasing rain storms driving along the Alcan, only adding more drama to the already intense beauty!

The sun recessed the snow and the Snowdrops claimed their space.
