I had not visited the little mermaid since 1966. She has been through many traumas since that time, including having her head and arms sawed off. I believe this is a new casting from the old mold, but she is back in place, overlooking the water, looking none the worst for wear.

D700 with 17-35 f-2.8 Zoom @ 35mm. f-5.6, 1-500, ISO 200. Processed in Capture NX2. Edit 8-7-17 reprocessed the Original NEF in PSCS6 Extended with Picture Postcard Workflow, to improve the overall look of the image.
