Behind The Lens

Location

this is a digital imaging photo, this is a mixture of several photos, for this photo object I took from a swimming pool in Indonesia

Time

This photo was taken during the day maybe around 10.00 am, with a high speed technique, because some of the frozen water is the original from the picture, it is very complicated to process it, and try several times to get the perfect moment and pose

Lighting

I used available light, and luckily when I took the picture I got a "softbox" from the clouds, making this photo dramatic

Equipment

I use a Canon 5D MkII camera with a 135mm f2.0 lens and a capac case underwater

Inspiration

I was inspired by the anime movie "The last Airbender" Katara, she has a strong and scary character, has water control skills, so I want to include her in the photo, I made the cloudy sky make her seem serious and strong, beautiful poses but elegant character.

Editing

yes, that's for sure I did digital processing, this is from some of my personal stock photos, clouds, frozen water, swimming pool water as if it was sea water. and the female object itself my friend. I use Photoshop and a pen tablet to create dramatic colors, and perfect water shapes

In my camera bag

in my bag I always have my main camera Canon 5D mk II lens canon 17-40 L, 135 f2.0 L, and 70-200 f2.8 L my favorite lens is 17-40 L because wide angle can make everything beautiful

Feedback

I think for now many people can make better than my photos, try to make photos that have character and have taste, because the taste will last forever, it will be enjoyed forever.
