Memento Mori is Latin for 'Remember you must Die'.
This was a fluke shot taken purely to test the lighting for a set of studio photos featuring a skull and feathers; however, it ended up being the shot of the day and I particularly like how the face in the background appears or disappears when viewed from different angles!

Early winter's morning looking through the trees to the fields beyond.....

Quite fascinating to watch the waves break over the sea wall...

The fields at the back of the house still heavily puddled but looking golden in the late autumn sunshine

I love it when the fields are being ploughed - the patterns are raked into the deep red soil like a Giant's Zen Garden!

I'm fascinated by trees in winter and the surreal images they form with their reflections!

When these beautiful flowers mature they go from white to green ....

The oil seed rape is in full bloom and the hills looked purple in the afternoon light - I just liked the colour combination!
