I conceived of this photo on Bell's Let's Talk Day. A photo to give light to the brokenness that some of us carry around inside us. I unfortunately just could not find the time before hand. This contest gave me a bit of a second chance... :)
"My voice is lacking.
My pages are empty.
I cannot find the prose that will put my broken mind at ease. Maybe I'm fooling myself. Maybe there are none to quiet an ill-tempered spirit.
So I beg of myself to break; to shatter and expel the dark side of the self that has been following in my footsteps, seeing through my eyes and speaking with my voice.
Draw a line down sanity. Cut away all the rest.
If only it were that easy."
