A Chinese elderly herb seller in a street market in rural China. This is a candid portrait taken at a local rural market. I speak Chinese, so I could sit down on a tiny Chinese stool to chat with him, and eventually buy some of his medicine (Chinese herbal medicine he grows himself) before asking to take some photos with him. We had a lot of fun, especially with his local friends finding our shoot amusing. The photo was taken in China, Guangxi province, near Guilin while I was leading a photography tour for Guilin Photography Tour company, guiding the Cairo Camera club trip.
