This picture speaks volumes, on so many levels! The art and talent involved in this creation are glowingly obvious, you are a true master of the art in my opinion! I wouldn't allow me to give you awards.

Location
The photo was taken at the old cemetery at Varhaug, which is a small remote chapel by the coastline of South-Western Norway.Time
I took the photo a very cold winter night around 10 pm. It was cold and clear sky, so perfect conditions for nightsky photography.Lighting
The key about this photo was to get away from light pollution. It is approx 1 hour from the city of Stavanger, while not ideal it still gets pretty dark as the milkyway can be seen above the ocean which aids in providing darkness.Equipment
This was shot with Canon 5D Mark III, Samyang 14mm f/2.8 and a tripod.Inspiration
I wanted to take a photo of the Milkyway after I got my first full-frame camera. I`ve been to the location before and I knew it provides a great motive, with decent light pollution conditions.Editing
The picture was pretty awesome straight from the camera, I did however stitch 2 photos together to get more of the skyline in the photo. I also did some minor clarity/noise adjustments on the milkyway itself, and reduced the highlights coming from the chapel window. In my camera bag
My Canon 5D Mark III, Samyang 14mm f/2.8, Sigma 30mm f/1.4, tripod, shutter releaser.Feedback
Get away from the light pollution of the city (there is an app that can help you to find the right place "Dark sky"), bring a decent camera (prefferably a full-frame as it allows for longer shutter time) and a good lens (wide is best), then just wait for a great weather forecast and you`re good to go.
