This is another bitter sweet moment captured. Christmas morning in the middle of wrapping gifts my 2 year old stops as my Rescue baby jumps thru the sea of wrapping paper to get to her baby girl. That beautiful girl was my very very bestfriend from the very first moment I rescued her at just 8 weeks old. She went every where with me. But the love she had for our youngest baby was so very beautiful to watch. It's been over a year since I lost my best friend, as sad yet happy as it makes me to see these, this is one of my favorites that will always hang on my wall.
