Location
I was working on the Pride of Aloha, an NCLA Cruise ship that ported in Hawaii. Once a month it would travel to the Fanning Islands a small island group near the equator. This ship wreck was near the islands we visited.Time
This was taken mid day.Lighting
Nothing special about the lighting except that it was near the equator.Equipment
My camera at Aperture 131/10?ISO 50?Shutter 1/180?Focal Length 222/10.Inspiration
I had never seen a partially sunken ship before and thought it was interesting especially with all the rust on it. Being in a remote location I am sure it had an interesting story behind it, unfortunately I never got to find out what it was.Editing
I added some post processing to get the colors to stand out more.In my camera bag
A couple of cameras, extra batteries, and battery chargers.Feedback
My advice is to take advantage of traveling to new places.
