Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the Addo National park in South Africa

Time

It was a lovely sunny day and we were driving around the national park in the afternoon. We were near an elephant waterhole when I saw this bird and decided to click it

Lighting

I wanted this picture to be as natural as possible to capture the bird as it looked into the distant horizon

Equipment

I used a Canon D1000 camera with Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Lens

Inspiration

It was an impulsive picture and seeing the bird through the lens gave me the being at the right place at the right moment feeling

Editing

No post processing done

In my camera bag

Now I have moved on from my old Canon 1000D camera to Nikon D5600 camera, which is my latest baby on my trips
