Opsinjoor

Giant version of a wooden puppet here in our town Mechelen in Belgium. The puppet was made long ago after a real person and it became a local treasure and known item and is kept here in a museum. Sometimes several people throw a copy of the original wooden puppet up to catch him again on on a big sheet. There is also a bronze statue in front of our Town House of ''Opsinjoor''.
