Not a single soul was around

It was getting dark at Norris Geyser Basin. I was nearing the end of the boardwalk loop, but I wasn’t too happy with the shots that I had got. I wanted another shot. Another shot that would make my day. Then, this moment arrive. I loved how the advancing clouds were juxtaposed against the perpetual steam coming out of that hot springs - as if volcanic gases were coming out of craters. The young moon traveled along with the clouds as the twilight was waning, and I just stood still, letting the moment sink in. Not a single soul was around. The only thing that filled the entire basin was the steady echoes of sulfuric acid and hydrogen sulfide gas. I set down my tripod and let the camera roll for a bit.
