Milky Way Over Salton Sea Naval Station Panorama.

To produce this panorama, I combined 22 vertical frames. The frames were shot with my Canon 6D and Sigma 15mm at f-2.8 25 seconds and ISO 4000.

It's well past the prime of Milky Way season, but I still like the way this turned out with the reflection, pillars, and all. I believe that the bright white dot to the lower left is Venus.

I shot this at the old abandoned Naval Station at the Salton Sea.

The conditions were perfect for nighttime photography - clear skies and almost no wind.

I shot MANY more photos at this location and will be processing and posting them over the next few days.
