I was driving near my home and spied a wrecked car beside the road with a smashed windshield and drove on, and as I drove, I realized the possible potential, and at home a half mile away, turned in a loop, came back, put a 70-200 or 80-200 Nikkor on my camera and shot from a distance to isolate the windshield from the wrecked interior and to isolate the message some unknown wag had created with duct tape over the heart-shaped hole in the windshield, creating a universally recognized slogan 'I (heart) you'. Interestingly, duct tape, the universal fix-it, seems not to have had its usual affect on the underlying relationship -- and the message is fundamentally at odds with the mode of expression, I believe.
