Those of us who live in Oklahoma City, and have for quite a while, will always remember that horrible day, April 19, 1995, when the Murrah Building was destroyed in the bombing.
Sara, pictured here, is remembering her late father, who worked in the Social Security Administration. He was also a Chicago Cubs Fan, and she wanted to remember him with his favorite shirt on, now on his chair, and the good time they had in watching the Cubs play baseball. She knew he would have loved seeing the Cubs win the World Series of Baseball in 2016.
I gave Sara a hug, and visited about my own experience with the federal building.
