A rectangular Russel Wright Steubenville tray, mid-century, with 2 playing cards, different colors, from the souvenir decks of the ‘Century of Progress’ World’s Fair, Chicago, 1933, and surrounded by a dozen orchids in bloom at the time. One is a Cymbidium, the rest are Phalaenopsis, or ‘Moth orchids’, showing a range of size and color-pattern variation. The San Francisco Orchid Show was earlier in the week, so I did increase my collection a bit. Spring is in the air!
