This past summer, a torrential downpour, saw the small town of Waumundee, Wisconsin, flooded. This sleepy little town consists of a church, bar-grill-restaurant-hotel, all purpose store, bank, and mill is tucked back in a valley between the tall hills on Hwy 88. Those who lived down right by the crick were hit pretty hard. I saw one house that had been completely under water and they were in the process of cleaning it out. I felt terrible for them. They looked so beaten, I didn't have the heart to snap a photo of them.
