This past summer, a torrential downpour, saw the small town of Waumundee, Wisconsin, flooded. This sleepy little town consists of a church, bar-grill-restaurant-hotel, all purpose store, bank, and mill is tucked back in a valley between the tall hills on Hwy 88. As long as I can remember, it has never flooded before. But there's always a first time. I waited about a week and then took a ride over there. This old barn was right in the path of it as you can see by the weeds laying down. Most were okay though and the damage was minimal for them. Those who lived down right by the crick were hit pretty hard. I saw one house that had been completely under water and they were in the process of cleaning it out. I felt terrible for them. They looked so beaten, I didn't have the heart to snap a photo of them.
