Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Sofia, Bulgaria. This little fellow lives in my street and was outside waiting for his owner. It looked really lonely and sad. There were kids playing on the street, but none of them was paying attention to the dog.

Time

It was late in the afternoon and I was coming home.

Lighting

It was a cloudy afternoon, perfect for taking photos.

Equipment

This was shot with Nikon D3300 with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G No other equipment was needed here.

Inspiration

I am a really huge animal lover. It is almost impossible for me to pass such a cute little puppy without stopping to play with it a little. It was literally begging me to take a photo of him. Our streets in Sofia are full of such lonely looking animals so I often walk around carrying dog food for them :)

Editing

A little bit of D-lighting and reducing brightness. The puppy eyes did the rest:)

In my camera bag

i have my Nikon D3300 body always with me combined with its kit lens (18-55mm), my alien-looking Gorilla pod, and my Nikon 70-300mm zoom lens (you never know when you will need to show your paparazzi skills)

Feedback

Go to a country with a lot of dogs on the streets. My homeland, Bulgaria, is a good example of that:)
