This beauty was happily resting on a shop door frame in a busy high street. Dragonflies represent new beginnings and spiritual growth-as does the colour green- which was quite fitting given the developments the following day for me. I think the green dragon was a little messenger and I felt very honoured to be able to get so close- my pictures of insects are always taken only a couple of inches away with a simple phone camera and no zoom- they seem to like to pose :)
