Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at Jerrabomberra wetlands which is in Canberra, Australia.

Time

The photo was taken from a bird hind and one of those lucky shots. It was also taken from great distance using a new camera Coolpix 900 and it’s hard to remember when. However, I would normally go there early morning so about 9.00am.

Lighting

I was not to worried about light because I was testing the function on the Coolpix 900. I was using the bird-watching in continuous mode. Canberra during winter can be overcast or sunny and on this day it was partly cloudy.

Equipment

As I mentioned the camera is a Coolpix 900, and the function was bird-watching mode continuous at about 800mm not certain of anything else. I think is shots at 6 frames per second

Inspiration

No inspiration the photo was part of a continuous shot.

Editing

I don’t remember but I do put my signature on all my pictures

In my camera bag

A very old Nikon D5000 with Sigma 150-500 lens and macro lens.

Feedback

I class myself as an always amateur photographer, because I believe you always learning new. For example; when I go my bird photograph trips I tend to target particular species, so I study them to my best ability. This helps to understand there movements, this is very important to capture any moving targets.
