Thanks for your note, Chuck. Pokhara is second largest city in Nepal and even at that it isn't too big. I spent most mornings sitting in a plastic chair on roof of my hotel watching the changing light as the sun rose. It was fascinating! :)

Dear Daisy: At the time of my visit to Pokhara, the sky was overcast for several days to the extent that I didn't even know there were mountains nearby, then one morning the clouds cleared and there was the revelation of not just a beautiful sunrise but also the mountains. From that day on I spent every sunrise sitting on the roof of my hotel watching the sunrise. Thanks for comment! :) :)
