Toucans are such a pleasure to photograph. With their slow, deliberate head movements it's hard to NOT get them in focus. I think this is a Keelbill Toucan (I may be wrong) and although the light was awkward, you handled it well, and dealt with the heavy slant of the shadow well in post.Nice glint in the eye, although you've lost texture in the darker feathers due to the solid shadow.
