Location
This is my favourite photo and it was taken during my trip to Nova Scotia. The village is called Peggy's Cove and has a population of about 500 people. It's a lovely place !Time
This was taken at 5:22 PM.Lighting
Nothing special really, I guess I was lucky...Equipment
I used a Canon 600D/T3i with the standard 18-55mm IS II kit lens.Inspiration
We drove town to this village, I was looking out the window and I immediately knew that this would make a great shot. So I stepped out of the car and here we are.Editing
I just adjusted the brightness a bit, slightly increased the contrast, added the lens profile correction and that's it !In my camera bag
I always carry my Billingham Hadley Pro with my Canon 600D/T3i and its the standard kit lens (18-55mm), plus the nifty-fifty 50mm f1.8 prime lens. In addition to that I always bring 2 spare batteries as well as a polarising filter. If I know that I will see some wildlife or that I'm going to shoot sports I add my Tamron 70-300mm SP VC.Feedback
If you are in Nova Scotia and you've got a car then just drive from village to village with your camera and tripod, there are so many lovely places to see there !
