This bold paperfish was sitting in a prominent position on a rock which made it quite easy to approach him to take a shot. He was surrounded by glassfish and other small fish and I think he may have been looking for a snack, as he opened his mouth just as I took the photo. This photo won me 3rd place in Intermediate Category of the Durban Undersea Club Shootout 2016.

I recently did a shark dive at Aliwal Shoal and caught this Oceanic Black tip coming straight towards my camera to investigate.
