Location
I took this photo in Bruncu Teula, south west Sardinia island in Italy.Time
18:00 pmLighting
The inspiration for this photo was given by the prospect and the lights in the trees that created a frame to the road that is lost in depth.Equipment
Nikon D3200 with Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 G Aperture f/4.5 Speed 1/80 ISO 200 No TripodInspiration
I really like the curve of the trees and the play of light between them. The perspective and the details contained in the composition.Editing
For editing, I used the Adobe Lightroom. I decreased the exposure. I opened the shades, and worked on the contrast by decreasing the lights. I increased the whites. I then increased the clarity concentrating on the details of the trees and the road. I used the technique of the dodge and burn to give more prominence to the parts in shadow and highlight the lights and the road.In my camera bag
My equipment is composed of the body of my Nikon D3200, a 18-55mm lens kit with lens hood. A 50 mm f / 1.8G. Usually I use my 18-55mm for landscapes. In this shot I wanted more detail and greater depth with a more engaging light.Feedback
What I would recommend to take pictures like this: Observe and be captured by the emotion. Studying the composition of your shot no hurry to shoot. It is often said that the best light is at sunrise and sunset. This is true but if you look good, as in this shot, the play of light is due precisely to the sun still quite high and that draws lights in the trees and gives detail to the whole composition. Sorry for my english and have fun shooting!
