Location
The photograph was taken At Inverkip mariner in InverclydeTime
It was really early in the morning I think around about 5 in the morningLighting
I had been watching the light for about three or four days and am still awaiting a sunrise I had seen a couple of weeks earlier were the sun was behind a low mist in a valley giving a very defused sun as the sun came up right between the valley to the north east of Inver kip I still am awaiting that photographEquipment
I used a Canon 5Ds with a Canon EF24-70mm lens hand held as I tend to travel lightInspiration
I am a pain sufferer after having many operations on my right knee I walk to try and help with my pain in weight reduction and just to try and get some fresh air I cannot walk with out aid and get out early in the morning to try and clear my head as much as I can due to PTSD. This photograph shows how my minds eye uses the world around me to control my stress by concentrating on the beauty of nature around me.Editing
Apart from using Canons HDR software in the supplied software I try very hard to capture what I see through the camera the photograph is made up of 3 photographs + & - 3 Evs taken with in the same moment I did not use the HDR in the camera for this photograph thus a little bit of movement in the lower left corner. I wish I had a light weight tripod as that would have been really helpful and a wider lens would have been more helpful to.In my camera bag
I don't use a bag cos it's to much weight to carryFeedback
Early morning light can be wonderful and gives you a brain wake up call which can really set you up for the day I recommend early nights and early starts to everyone for sleep patterns and for health as well as for taking photographs. Always visit your destination over and over always take your camera with you everywhere you go take photographs in all weathers look at cloud and use natural light as much as you can learn to take photographs in low light as low light photography teaches control of light and finally try and learn to use a tripod as often as you can learning touse your cameras settings and functions to help with vibration and movement
