Location
This photo was taken in our forest. We love being out in nature and spend a lot of time in our little forest, so we decided there was no better place then where we love being the most :)Time
This was taken in the Spring time in the late afternoon. Our forest still gets a bit at that time, but lots of great shaded areas.Lighting
This was all done with natural lighting.Equipment
This was taken with a Nikon D600 with a 85mm lens. My camera was on a tripod and I was holding the remote in my hand (which I tend to throw or drop afterwards so its not in my hand when the photo is taken)Inspiration
I take a lot of photos of my kids, animals and husband but im usually not a part of the photos (I HATE having my photo taken). I didn't want to leave no photos of me and my kids from when they were younger so I sucked it up and took my youngest out for a Mothers Day photo shoot so we would always have that memory.Editing
Yes. I didn't do too much, just converted it to a black and white (which I don't do often) and added my famous matte effect and that was it :)In my camera bag
I usually carry 2 cameras (one for recording videos and the other for photos). I usually have my 50mm, 85mm and my 70-300mm lens in my bags at all time just in case I need to switch. Sometimes I go out for a photo shoot and see cute critters and I will switch my lens and put on my zoom lens and try to get the cute critters. I also carry food for critters, snacks and drinks for us....and wipes.. I also always carry my tripod with me just in case ;)Feedback
Just go out and try! You never know what you are capable of until you go out and try it for yourself.
