It's been exactly one year since I visited Japan, and the state of bewilderment still lingers every time when I look through all the photographs I captured. Visual Poetry to my understanding, means to capture a memorable moment without hesitation, yet capable of providing the audiences or viewers the opportunity to cogitate creatively the story behind the photograph. When they begin to participate in the photograph, then I think I've achieved my goal. The story behind this photo is quiet ordinary, but after it developed into a photograph, it seems to make this entire work voluminous. Japan was in plum rain season when I visited, my friend wanted to see the deers at the Nara Park. The morning we left Kyoto and headed our way to Nara, we got onto the wrong train and had to travel back and forth to get to the destination. And the turning point of this little adventure was, when we got to the Park, the rain stopped. My friend and I couldn't be more happy. But how will the different viewers interpret the story behind this photo?
