Once a vibrant school, tragically transformed into a concentration camp during the Khmer Rouge regime 1975-1979 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
I experienced immense sadness as I explored the deserted rooms discovering the tragedy of S-21.
This picture captures a stillness that is quite eerie. The angles of the doorways, floor tiles and the light streaming in through barbed wire windows captured my attention as I tried to come to terms with what actually happened during this horrific period in history
