Behind The Lens

Location

This photo is taken in Amsterdam Waterleiding Duinen in Vogelenzang, Holland.

Time

It was around 15.00 hours.

Lighting

While it was a very warm day this fox was sheltering under little trees.

Equipment

Canon 70D with 70-300 Canon lens. Shot at F5.6, 100 ISO, 190mm, 1/60 (no tripod)

Inspiration

This was my first encounter with the red fox, i had no time to think so this was for me the lucky shot.

Editing

I use Photoshop, NiK where I only did a little bit sharpening.

In my camera bag

When going to Amsterdam Waterleiding Duinen I only take my 100mm macrolens and 70-300mm. My Canon 15-85 kitlens I use for quickshots when I don't know what I want to shoo. The 50mm 1.8 for portrets, which I rarely do.

Feedback

Whereas animals are always moving I keep shooting when in the meantime I quickly change my AF point to always keep the eye which is the closest to the camera sharp.
