This is sort of part of a series, Next to Angelo Animale there is this underwatercreature. Similar to a jellyfish, just below the surface, beauty in all its simplicity, dark in her own way.

This photograph was made in a pool, provided by family of our makeup artist.Time
it was in the afternoon on a cloudy day.Lighting
Pure natural lighting, nothing extra on this series.Equipment
Panasonic camera with housing (borrowed from my team member)Inspiration
I wanted to do a follow up for "Angelo Animale" and create a series of a water creature and an air creature. It had to be pure and big and a little bit mystical.Editing

Start out small and use daylight, get comfortable, then build up from there. ALWAYS have safety people involved that check on you, your assistant AND your model when you are underwater. Do not start out in open water, start in a controlled pool where you and your model can easily stand up. A lot can go wrong underwater so there is much more to take in account then you would think. Talk to divers, talk to people to understand what you need to do to take precautions. Be VERY careful if you decide to use power cables near the water, this is also potentially life threatening.
